ACCP aims to enhance the work in the profession of educating children, as well as to guide its members. Among the most important functions our association performs are: developing projects with shared interests, organizing activities, and representing the professional interests of its members with learning opportunities, allowing their professional and personal needs to be addressed.
1. Education
Training with state-approved classes in Child Development, First Aid and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), and Fire Safety (Fire Department) classes, which are required by the state for obtaining a license and operating the business.
2. Advisory
Information on program evaluations such as CDA, Quality Rated, and National Accreditation, among others.
3. Networking
We promote meetings among colleagues who share similar interests in early childhood education and care, to share experiences in their profession, exchange opinions, and thus drive new strategies and ideas.
4. Resource Exchange

5. Information
ACCP will keep members updated on new ideas, issues, and innovations that arise in the profession. Being a part of ACCP provides the opportunity for continuous learning and teaching.

Duties:
- Fulfill obligations as a member.
- Attend assemblies.
- Participate in meetings and activities.
- Contribute to organizing and developing the association’s activities and ensure the proper use of its assets.
- Pay financial commitments by the required dates.
- Carry out the roles for which they were elected by the assembly.
- Respect and comply with the statutes and regulations, as well as the decisions of the assembly and the executive committee.
- Safeguard the association’s assets and funds.
- Avoid actions that could harm the association or the relationships between members.
Rights:
- Enjoy all services and benefits inherent to membership, provided that financial obligations to the association are up to date.
- Participate in assemblies and vote in the election of board members.
- Be elected, according to the statutes, to hold a position within the association.
- Request information from the board of directors about the association.
- Report to the board of directors any situations contrary to the association’s statutes or regulations.
- Receive professional and informational training and development.
